The short version TillTab stores all data locally on your device. No personal data is ever sent to us or any third party.

1. Overview

TillTab is a point-of-sale application designed for small businesses. This policy explains what data TillTab handles, where it is stored, and what we do with it.

2. Data We Collect

TillTab does not collect any personal data about you or your customers.

The app stores the following information locally on your device only:

Product catalogue (names, prices, categories)
Transaction records (items sold, totals, payment method, date and time)
Z-report and X-report history
App settings (store name, currency, tax rate, opening float)

This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.

3. Camera Permission

TillTab may request access to your device's camera to scan product barcodes. Camera access is used solely for this purpose. No images or video are recorded, stored, or transmitted.

4. No Accounts or Registration

TillTab does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or payment details to use the app.

5. No Analytics or Tracking

TillTab does not use any analytics tools, advertising networks, crash reporters, or third-party SDKs. There is no tracking of how you use the app.

6. Data Storage

All app data is stored using your device's local browser storage (IndexedDB and localStorage). Data persists until you clear your browser or app data, or perform a factory reset within the app.

We have no access to this data and cannot recover it if it is deleted.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or disclose any data to third parties because we do not collect any data in the first place.

8. Children's Privacy

TillTab is intended for use by business owners and their staff. It is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
